I am Mark Richman and I have started learning piano since the age of 8. I studied with Dr. Antonia Brico, one of the first female conductors in the United States. The folk singer Judy Collins was also one of her students. At the Age 12, I began to write my own classical music and I continue to do so today. I attended Yale University where I studied Jazz and Blues music. In 1975, I began to teach piano, beginning with my own daughter. Since then, I have had hundreds of private piano students of all ages. I have taught Piano at Jordan Kitts piano store and at the Flint Hill school in Fairfax. Since 2004, I have been a member of the composer's society of Montgomery county, Maryland and I have also accompanied choirs at churches on both coasts. When I am not playing the Piano, I teach biology at Fairfax Christian school in Vienna.
